Event - Nurturing the Senses in the Young Child.
20th Oct 2007 - As part of the Creating a Happy
Childhood Workshop Series, Inishowen Kindergarten organised
this event held in Greenbank Hall, Quigley's Hall on 20th
Oct 2007.
Dot Male discovered Rudolf Steiner's work when her
son was one year old. At this
time she trained as a Kindergarten teacher and worked with
other parents to establish a new Kindergarten initiative in
her home in Lancaster. Moving to York (where her son attended
the Steiner school) she began to run workshops for parents.
She created a course entitled "The First Three Years"
which has been successful in both York and London. Her book
entitled "The Parent and Child Group Handbook" is
published by
Hawthorn Press. Dot is currently working towards an
MA. She enjoys running workshops and she is delighted to be
invited to speak in Inishowen.
This event was part funded by the Inishowen Partnership
