Event - Inishowen Agricultural Vintage Show, Moville
8th June 2008 - The Inishowen Kindergarten came
out in force for the annual Inishowen Agricultural Vintage
Show held in Carrick Field Moville. Parents in the group set
up a pamper stall offering reflexology and Indian Head massage.
The pampers were given by two fully qualified practitioners
Brenda McDermott and Tanya McColgan, in a large relaxation
tent with suitable music and lighting. While parents were
relaxing they could leave their childrenwith Christina in
the activity tent next door where they could make simple crafts
or get their faces painted by Katsu and Lynda.
As this event was a fundraiser for the IK we also ran a raffle
with many prizes donated kindly by local businesses and parents.
The top prize was a wonderful scenery painting from the Isle
of Doagh by Tanya McColgan. Yes she has been busy! Thank you
to the McLaughlin duo for their great sales skills and for
attracting so much attention to our stall.
Another one of our parents Brendan Farren, a local artist
and weaver, brought some baskets for display and set up our
relaxation tent. We also offered for sale plants that were
grown by the children and parents of the kindergarten.
A huge thank you to all the parents who worked so hard on
this event and another great big thank you to all those who
supported us on the day and over the last year.
